The new Viscotek HorizonDLS™ is a state-of-the-art, DLS high-throughput plate reader matched with user-friendly OmniSIZE™ software to generate the most sensitive and accurate performance available. The HorizonDLS™ incorporates patented Single Mode Fiber (SMF) optic detection, unique Dual Attenuation Technology (DAT) and independent temperature control of the plate and the sample. HorizonDLS™ is the benchmark for automated macromolecular characterization.
Well Plates


HorizonDLS™ is designed for use with a wide range of industry standard 96 or 384 well micro-plates and delivers the same sensitivity, low sample volume, temperature control and performance as the acclaimed 802DLS™, but automatically, from the entire plate or selected wells, with no user intervention.

Requiring only a small volume of undiluted sample, the prepared micro-plate is placed in the temperature controlled cell holder by hand or by robot. OmniSIZE™ acquisition software then makes the measurements according to the user programmed acquisition sequence and the results are displayed in seconds. A complete size distribution analysis of an entire plate can be accomplished automatically in minutes.
