Single Mode Fiber - SMF
Airy DiscAt the heart of the optics lies the patented SMF technology that gives the 802DLS and Horizon such an advantage in accuracy and precision.

The SMF acts as an optical filter, eliminating extraneous signals and only allowing a single mode of scattered light to reach the detector.

The result is the cleanest signal, enabling high sensitivity and precise size distributions. The latter being essential for protein crystallography studies.

Dual Attenuation Technology - DAT
The DAT option for the 802DLS boosts the performance of the instrument to a unique level. Dual Attenuation TechnologySimultaneous digital control of laser power and optical attenuation produce unprecedented dynamic range from 100% to 0.0001% transmission. This allows the instrument to automatically operate at the optimum settings for every sample, even concentrated solutions, without user intervention. No other DLS system has a wider dynamic range of optical attenuation than the 802DLS.

Viscotek 802DLS
The Viscotek 802DLS is a state-of-the-art dynamic light scattering instrument. It makes the rapid characterisation of proteins, nanoparticles, polymers and biomolecules in solution a routine task. The 802 features Single Mode Fiber and Dual Attenuation Technologies to deliver the most sensitive and accurate performance available.

Horizon DLS
The new Viscotek HorizonDLS™ is a state-of-the-art, high throughput Dynamic Light Scattering instrument that generates the most sensitive and accurate performance available. The HorizonDLS™ incorporates independent temperature control of the plate and the sample. Designed for use with a wide range of industry standard 96 or 384 well micro-plates it delivers the same sensitivity, low sample volume, temperature control and performance as the acclaimed 802DLS™, but automatically, from the entire plate or selected wells, with no user intervention.

OmniSIZETM Software
OmniSIZE is the most advanced DLS software available, with many new and unique features. It provides a powerful interface for the user to see at a glance the important data from their set of samples. Imaginative, built in automation functions enable both the novice and advanced user to work rapidly with data; and powerful reporting is a mouse click away. Utilising the unique L-Curve optimisation, OmniSIZE accurately and rapidly produces the precise data you need.
Complete Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) / Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) systems for the characterization of natural and synthetic polymers, proteins, conjugates and excipients.
