Regional Sales Engineer / Sales Representative
We have an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Engineer.
Individual will be responsible for revenue growth resulting from the sale of all
Viscotek products and services. As the Regional Sales Engineer, the individual will be required to:
- Identify, qualify and develop new prospects and move these prospects to closure
- Close existing prospects which are identified by the Director, Sales and Marketing
- Achieve yearly sales forecasts which are developed in cooperation with the Director, Sales and Marketing
- Maintain and enhance relationships with the existing customer base
- Coordinate technical and analytical service activities within the defined sales territory
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year college degree in the physical or biological sciences and have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. A chemistry background is preferred. Experience with chromatography systems and software is a definite plus.

Professional Sales Engineer
Houston, Texas instrument technology company has an opening for a Professional Sales Engineer. Position involves providing input into product design, troubleshooting technical problems, conducting research into the development and improvement of various engineering processes, identifying and qualifying new prospects and moving them to closure.
Duties also include preparing technical reports and publications, and participating in technical and analytical service activities within the specific territory
Qualified applicants must possess a Masters Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering and a minimum of one (1) year of experience with polymer/protein/nano-particle characterization using chromatography, light scattering and viscometry.
